Onomatopoeia

Onomatopoeia When words sound exactly like the sound they are describing
E.g Crash! Bang! Boom!


Match the following sentences to the onomatopoeia that describes them.


  1. A plate being dropped on the floor.-Smash

Writing my own:
My alarm clock rings every 7 am.
The bubblegum in his mouth popped causing it to go all over his face.
I was dared to chug down a whole bottle of soda in 20 seconds.
We hid behind the creaky door.
He crunched his way through eating a whole packet of chips.
